- Always place the scale on a level surface that does not yield. A floor with carpet or for example an old wooden floor are unsuitable.

- Set the balance to 0 before the first weigh. Briefly tap the balance with your foot and wait until the weight 0 has disappeared.

- For reliable results, the balance should not be moved for the last three minutes before weighing.

- Stand upright, calm and centered on the scale. An uneven load can falsify the measurement result.
