Tefal's Unique and Patented Removable Scale Collector
Without an anti-scale solution, limescale will build up inside the steam chamber. As well as reducing steam output, this scale can be pushed through the iron’s soleplate and stain your clothes.
To tackle the issue, we’ve created a removable Scale Collector. This patented anti-scale solution captures up to 10 x more scale particles** directly from the water tank in a twist-in spoon. This helps to prevent blockages and maintain your high pressure steam generator iron’s long-lasting steam performance for effortless crease removal.
It’s quick and easy to clean too: simply pull out the spoon and empty the contents in the bin.

One optimal setting for easy, risk-free ironing
The Effectis Anti-Scale high pressure steam generator iron is equipped with Smart Technology. This provides one optimal combination of temperature and steam that’s safe for all your fabrics**** at the touch of a button.
Here’s how it works: an ultra-precise (<1% variation) processor monitors the soleplate’s temperature and steam output constantly, providing the ideal mix of the two for every fabric****.
There’s no need to sort your linen and no risk of damaging your delicates. With Smart Technology, one setting suits all****!
****All ironable fabrics
High-efficiency ironing
The smoother a soleplate’s glide, the easier and faster it is to iron. So, it’s good to know that Effectis Anti-Scale has our Durilium Airglide Autoclean soleplate, providing +33% more glide***.
It also has more active steam holes: at the tip, on its sides and – unlike most soleplates – at the centre for more efficient ironing. Meanwhile, the Autoclean catalytic coating ensures it stays stain free and in prime condition over time.
