Fine-tuned in Hollywood
"We live and die for the film. Every day we make 1,000 decisions about the sound, the colors, the light and shadow and the emotions we want to convey," says Avatar director James Cameron. Panasonic shares this passion and pursues the goal of masterfully reproducing masterpieces of the film. This is how Panasonic develops TV technology where the heart of the film industry beats: in Hollywood. Professional filmmakers give suggestions for the perfect "Hollywood TV", Panasonic engineers use their expertise to reproduce a film as faithfully as possible.

HCX Processor
The heart of a TV is the image processor. The Panasonic HCX processor has been optimized in close cooperation with Hollywood professionals. He masters the wealth of image information and the enormous speed at which it has to be distributed effortlessly. The HCX processes colors, black levels and brightness according to the original. 3D LUT, HDR and 4K remaster technology enhance hue accuracy in both light and dark areas. The result: precise colour and image reproduction as intended by the filmmakers.

HDR10/PQ, HLG, HDR10+, Dolby Vision
and HLG Photo Panasonic supports all major HDR standards with the new HXW804 series TVs. In addition to HLG, which was developed by the British BBC and Japan's NHK to broadcast HDR content, and HDR10, the HDR format of the Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc™, these also include the two formats HDR10+ and Dolby Vision™, which are based on dynamic metadata. In addition, the OLED TVs also support the new HLG Photo standard for playing photos in HDR image quality.

DOLBY ATMOS® – NEW DIMENSION OF SOUND
The blockbuster becomes a real pleasure when not only the picture inspires, but also the sound. Dolby Atmos® puts the viewer right in the middle of the action. So when a plane takes off in the action movie, the turbine noise rushes over the heads of the audience. Real Hollywood feeling is the result.

HDR Bright Panel Plus
The HDR Bright Panel Plus produces crisp HDR images with spectacular highlights by combining an efficient screen and powerful LED backlighting. The result is excellent image quality, even on sunny days.

Local Dimming
