The MasterCase SL600M from Cooler Master is a new, cutting-edge Midi-Tower with a tempered glass side panel and an all-round premium quality design. Unlike many other case manufacturers, Cooler Master has managed to allow for superb airflow throughout the case in spite of the highly streamlined and attractive design. This is also why the MasterCase SL600Mcomes equipped with strikingly tall stand-offs and the roof is equipped with sleek yet effective air vents at the sides. The MasterCase SL600M from Cooler Master in Detail Among all the striking design flourishes is also a significant degree of innovation. To enable excellent airflow, Cooler Master has thoughtfully included a generous amount of space in both the base and roof of the MasterCase SL600M. The PWM hub allows two additional 4-pin PWM fans to be connected. It is supplied with power via a SATA connection. When installing the graphics card, the MasterCase SL600M reveals another innovation: The rear PCI bracket can be rotated 90 degrees , thus transforming the standard layout of seven horizontal and two vertical slots into a 2+4 layout. Up to two graphics cards can then be installed vertically next to each other. These can be up to 31.8 centimeters long. A 20 centimeter long riser cable is included with the case by CoolerMaster. Large interior with plenty of space for hardware The MasterCase SL600M is designed for mounting E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX mainboards, and E-ATX boards may have a maximum size of 30.5 x 27 centimetres. The power supply is not mounted at the back of the case as usual, but vertically behind the front at the top. There it is covered by a side panel. This allows Cooler Master to dispense with a power supply cover that would otherwise interrupt the vertical airflow. This also gives more room for graphics cards that are installed vertically. A power supply cable is connected to the back of the case.

Two 3.5" or 2.5" drives can be mounted directly behind the front using the brackets supplied. An additional bracket is mounted on the panel directly behind it, which also serves as a screen for the power supply unit. There are also two independent brackets for 2.5-inch drives on the front panel. Finally, there is a fourth 3.5/2.5-inch mount on the back of the case. For 2.5-inch SSDs, there are two additional mounting options on the back of the mainboard tray. Thus, a total of four 3.5-inch drives and/or eight 2.5-inch drives can be accommodated . Attention to Detail The tempered glass side wall is darkly tinted and accentuates the distinctive case. The front and lid are made of anodised aluminium, which is not brushed, but sandblasted and therefore has a smooth surface . Both are laterally curved and are situated directly against the case. The lid is divided into two parts, the middle part either rests directly on the underlying mesh or can be lifted in two steps, for example to improve the airflow.

The largely equipped I/O panel is located between the front side and the cover. In addition to the slide control for the fan control two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 type A slots are provided. Additionally, there is one USB 3.1 Type C slot included. Of course there is an on/off switch and jack slots for headphones or microphones. Furthermore, there is a light for the USB slots, which is switched on via a proximity sensor.
