Additionally, this device has a DAB via WiFi functionality, allowing to listen to DAB signal broadcasting radio stations via Internet. The Internet radio ensures high quality signal, free from distortion and noise typical for analogue FM radio. Podcast fans will be happy to play their favourite programmes, searching by country name or the topic, e.g. business, education, family or kids.

A perfect solution implemented in this device is the integrated Spotify Connect functionality that allows using Spotify app installed on another mobile device, e.g. smartphone or tablet, connected to same Wi-Fi network as the IR10BT Internet radio. This functionality will make your songs and playlists sound much better than on smarthopne or tablet speakers.

If you don’t use Spotify, but prefer other streaming apps or have an extensive multimedia library on your smartphone, you can also play music wireless using Bluetooth.

Another functionality important for all users is the UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) protocol supports that allows to connect your laptop to the IR10BT and enjoy wireless playing of music files stored on the hard drive.

Beside the possibility to use Internet resources or external wireless devices, you can also use a standard USB port (supporting storage devices up to 64 GB), that allows listening to any track stored on a pendrive or other USB storage device. The IR50DAB is also equipped with an audio signal output to connect the device to an older type of amplifier or an AV receiver. This way you get a new functionality. Mains supply, as well as MP3 file readout ports are located on the back panel.

With the focus on most demanding users, beside high manufacturing quality and functionality, the IR10BTis equipped with a large and clear 2.4″ colour TFT display with adjustable brightness, ensuring convenient operation and quick access to all necessary information, including time, weather, track title, logo of current radio station, as well as current track’s original album cover.

Front panel buttons simplify operation of this Internet radio, ensuring quick access to additional functions of the device, such as the alarm clock, useful for those who have problems with waking up early. The alarm clock of the IR10BT Internet radio offers multiple options of configuration, e.g. individual alarm time setting (Monday-Friday, weekends, every day) and selection of alarm sound (buzzer, melody or any sound available on this device). The user can also adjust alarm loudness or snooze. Additionally, the IR10BT model has an automatic switch-off function, useful for those who listen to podcasts until night hours. Depending on the setting, the device can switch off in 5 to 120 minutes.
