Somewhere in the frozen wastes of Antarctica, a meteorite crashes. The alien microbes found within it are transferred to a secret research facility, but something goes wrong. Alien microbes break out of the lab and spread as people in extreme conditions begin to die out. The last one alive decides to prevent them from getting outside the facility and starts self-destruction

In Chromosome, you play as extraterrestrial microbes that came to Earth with a meteorite. Unfortunate failures meant that the research facility in which the microbes were kept remains without human supervision and will soon be destroyed. Your goal is to survive and get out. To this end, you will multiply, mutate, fight with other microbes. The one who can adapt better and defeat the competitors will win.
