The kryographics replaces the successful and popular aquagraFX or aquagrATIx for years, retains its advantages, but has been optimized especially with regard to the flow behavior. It is not compatible with the aquagraFX series, but, like the old connection terminal, it has two G1 / 4-inch ports on both sides, with the unused threads being closed with the two enclosed screw plugs.

The kryographics' nickel-plated heat sink is a full-block design that covers all the heat-intensive parts of the graphics card. The nickel-plated copper of the 10 mm thick base is highly polished at the contact points to the GPU, the GDDR5 memory and to the voltage transformers to ensure optimum heat transfer. In addition, an excellent thermal pad is included in the scope of voltage regulation.

On the other side of the copper floor, besides the area of ​​the GPU, the water also flows through the area of ​​the voltage transformers with a high flow rate, which is especially important for the ambitious overclocking of not to be underestimated importance. Directly above the graphics chip, the CNC milled copper plate has a structure of many very small channels, which significantly increases the area of ​​heat emission to the water.

For the lid of the kryographics, aqua computer uses transparent acrylic glass for this edition. Thus, the cooler is particularly well suited for colored cooling liquids, which are optically ideal. In addition, the top is framed in a chic stainless steel frame. Thanks to integrated spacers, the water cooler is still very simple and, above all, safe to install. The sleek, flat design makes it easy to combine multiple graphics cards in a Crossfire combination, which requires optional kryoconnect connector kits.

Hints:For integration into the cooling circuit, connections are required that are not included in the delivery. Also separately is to acquire thermal paste, which is necessary to establish contact between the cooler and graphics card. In addition, make sure that the cooler is only suitable for Radeon RX 480 AMD graphics cards in reference design with 8 or 4 GB GDDR5 memory! The original cooler must be removed before installation, which invalidates the manufacturer's warranty for the graphics card!
